So for those who would like to extend more help to victims in Haiti, you can give donations earmarked for specific goods such as medical supplies, water purifications, protein bars, and even school-in-a-box kits that helps set up a temporary school for up to 40 children during emergency crisis.

Huffingtonpost has setup The Goods: Help Send Relief To Haiti where you can select specific donations to organizations providing them and will directly translate to a product that helps someone else.

Aforementioned, additional organizations for Haiti’s relief effort are: yele.org has been a long standing supporter of Haiti, and One.org. Also, American Red Cross, UNICEF requests donations for relief for children in Haiti via their Haiti Earthquake Fund. You can also call 1-800-4UNICEF

Make a pledge to help out the Haitians now. Due to the nature of Haiti’s scale of poverty and their limited resources for emergency support, it magnifies the urgency for relief now.
