Starting in mid Jan through Feb is when people seem to get a little funked, then gradually stir crazed and blue depressed. What is left when the holiday season and New Year have been spent? Another year of deja vous in hopes that the recycled resolution won’t disappoint this time around.
To be honest, a modest resolution is all I can ask for: good health, family and happiness.
My daughter brought me the prettiest yellow Primrose for $3 from the Farmer’s Market at Union Square today (supposedly, they last up to 5 months indoors without much lighting). These flowers were one of the best gifts I’ve received for obvious reasons.
And we all should be content and thankful for what we have right now, now.
